On behalf of Tom’s mates from University, we wish to share our deepest condolences to everyone who knew John, especially his family. Whenever we descended on Ramsbottom we always received the warmest welcome from John and Marlene We have recent fond memories of dancing around and singing with John at Tom’s 40th a few years ago. It was always clear to us how well loved he was by his friends and how central he was to his family. Given most of us would hope our greatest achievement over our lives is how our children turn out, we’re certain he can rest in peace with pride. Tom is central to so many of our favorite memories and we feel blessed to have him in our lives. John has shaped a kind spirited, fiercely loyal and hard working son and his daughters were equally delightful when we have had the chance to socialize with them. He can be proud of the legacy he’s left behind and the wonderful memories he’s given all those who met him. Rest in Peace
